It cooks for 8 or more on 1,250+ sq in, then the cooktop lifts off for an open fire. Choose a low round base, low Euro base or no base for a built-in.

The Arteflame Classic 40" Fire Pit Grill with Cooktop is a designer fire pit you can cook dinner on. A sculpted 40" CORTEN bowl sits at a relaxed 22" seating height on a low round or low Euro base, or with no base for a built-in installation. A removable ½" steel cooktop ring and a center grill grate turn it into a grill and griddle for 8 or more.
The fire bowl is 10-gauge CORTEN weathering steel, about 3.4 mm thick, that forms a warm, rust-colored patina and needs no paint. Sear steaks over the center grate while vegetables and smash burgers cook on the flat-top ring, then lift off the cooktop and keep the fire going.
