It burns hardwood or lump charcoal, cooks for 8 or more at bar height, and turns into a fire pit when you lift off the cooktop. The slide-together CORTEN legs give it an open, sculptural look.

The Arteflame Classic 40" Flat Top Charcoal Grill with Tall Euro Base is a wood-fired grill and griddle in one. A center grill grate sits over the fire for searing, and a 40" ring of ½" steel around it gives you 1,250+ sq in of griddle space for 8 or more people. The Euro base uses slide-together CORTEN steel legs with an open, architectural look and sets the cooktop at 40", bar height.
The fire bowl and base are 10-gauge CORTEN weathering steel that forms its own rust-colored patina and needs no paint. Because the cooktop is solid steel, grease stays off the fire, and the heat falls off from the center to the rim, so you can sear, cook and hold food warm at the same time. When dinner is done, lift off the cooktop and enjoy an open fire.
