The Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared 44" gas grill uses a twin-head layout: a 500 sq. in. main cookbox and a separate 250 sq. in. cookbox, each with its own lid, powered by six Dual-Tube burners at 60,000 BTU. Sear steaks on one side while sides finish on the other, then move to the infrared side burner or rear rotisserie.
Best for: Large households and party hosts who want two independent cooking zones and 1,150 sq. in. of total space without iQue electronics.
Rather than one wide firebox, this 44" Regal splits its cooking surface into two completely separate cookboxes. The large head offers 500 sq. in. and the small head 250 sq. in., both lined with Flav-R-Wave plates and reversible Apex stainless steel grids over six Dual-Tube burners in total.
The Broil King Regal S 690 Pro Infrared 44" gas grill is built for cooks who regularly juggle several dishes for a crowd. Run the small head at a lower setting for vegetables or fish, sear on the infrared side burner at up to 1,700°F, and use the rear burner with the auto-reversing rotisserie kit for roasts. Propane models include a pull-out tank drawer.
