It won’t take long for the Santa Maria Fire Pit to become the focal point of your backyard.
Its signature feature is a precision stainless steel crank wheel and cable system that raises and lowers the cooking grate, giving you complete control over the fire. Inspired by our popular Santa Maria open-fire grill, this design lets you move effortlessly from high-heat searing to low-and-slow cooking—without shifting coals or food.
The concept is simple and refined: an open fire pit with a grate that cranks smoothly to any height from 11 to 40 inches above the flame.
Choose between classic Meadow Creek black or unpainted Corten steel—the first time this corrosion-resistant finish has been offered on a Meadow Creek product. Over time, Corten develops a rugged, weathered patina that perfectly complements the Santa Maria’s Old West character.
The included welded stainless steel grate measures 32” x 26”, won’t rust, and offers plenty of room for feeding a crowd. For added versatility, the SMFP34 features Meadow Creek’s modular grate system, allowing you to swap in optional accessories like a seafood basket or flat griddle.
