Don’t have enough space in the garage for a large grill? Need to transport the grill in your SUV? The Meadow Creek BBQ42C Chicken Cooker has the same grate size as the BBQ42 and holds 40 lbs. of chicken (1 case of legs and thighs), but knocks down to 56″ x 28″ x 6″. You can even set these collapsible grills side-by-side for additional capacity.
This cooker does not come standard with a removable ash pan.

The carefully designed grate-to-fire distance addresses the two biggest chicken-cooking challenges: drying out over direct heat and rubbery skin from offset smoking. Chicken Cooker Airflow
Food is separated from the fire by vertical distance, similar to a traditional block pit. Air flows through vents at the bottom sides of the pit and exits through the top, creating even heat and consistent smoke. Optional lids (standard on some models) provide ultimate control over flare-ups, making it simple to grill tender, juicy chicken with perfectly crispy skin every time.
