The Primo Oval Junior 200 is a compact ceramic kamado charcoal grill sold as the grill head only. Despite its 100 lb weight and 21 in width, it offers 210 sq in of primary cooking area on a 13.5" x 18.5" grid, enough to roast two 14 lb turkeys at once, and the optional rack system brings the total to 360 sq in. A cast iron top vent, stainless steel draft door, easy-to-read thermometer and reversible cooking grates support grilling, baking, roasting and smoking from 200°F to 750°F+.
The Junior works as a primary grill or as a charcoal companion to your gas grill. Primo also offers a Primo GO two-piece cradle and base, sold separately, that makes the Junior portable.
Best for: Smaller households or gas grill owners who want a compact kamado that can still roast two 14 lb turkeys at once.
The Primo Oval JR 200 is deceptively large when it comes to cooking ability. In fact, two 14 lb. turkeys can be roasted simultaneously.
